The hectic academic schedule at IPB University often leads students to skip breakfast or resort to unhealthy fried snacks. The student team from the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) has turned this phenomenon into a business opportunity through the brand Wrap n Go!, an innovative healthy, practical, and affordable salad wrap.
Using rice paper wraps, Wrap n Go! combines fresh vegetables with high-quality proteins such as prawns and chicken. The product is led by Tenaya Olga Yanuar from Management Study Program, who designed the concept of healthy fast food as a response to student and working people’s fast paced lifestyles around the campus.
Unlike the often expensive salads found in cafés, Wrap n Go! positions itself as an affordable and healthy alternative without compromising on nutritional value. This aligns with the third Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which is to ensure healthy lives and promote well being.
“Many students suffer from acid reflux because they skip breakfast or frequently eat fried foods. Wrap n Go! offers a breakfast that’s portable, flexible, yet still highly nutritious,” explained Tenaya Olga Yanuar.
To ensure quality, each portion is made by order, so the freshness of the vegetables is maintained right up to the customer’s hands. So far, the chicken variant has been the most popular menu item due to its perfect texture and ability to be filling as a substitute for a heavy meal.
“Through the Student Entrepreneurship Programme (PMW), we have gained a valuable opportunity to consult on business development strategies. Our future ambition is to gradually establish a dedicated outlet serving a variety of healthy foods,” she added.
The arrival of Wrap n Go! proves that healthy food doesn’t have to be boring or expensive. Thanks to the creativity of the IPB University student team, nutritious meals can now be enjoyed in a more exciting way, supporting the fast-paced lifestyle on campus. (MW) (IAAS/PRP)
