IPB University distributed a total of 5.400 Holiday Gift Packages (BHR) to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1447 H at Grha Widya Wisuda (GWW), Dramaga Campus (3/11). This activity serves as a manifestation of solidarity, care, and institutional appreciation for all employees who have contributed to the performance and achievements of IPB University.
The Rector of IPB University, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, stated that the distribution of these holiday packages is a tradition maintained as part of the values of togetherness and sharing within the campus environment.
He noted that this program is not merely a distribution of basic necessities, but a tangible form of care and recognition for all IPB University employees.
According to him, the employees have become the backbone of the institution in reaching various performance milestones.
Dr Alim also conveyed that starting this year, the holiday packages include products produced by the IPB University Science Techno Park (STP). These products include Botani Water, Botani Biscuits and Cookies, Lemonaria Collagen drinks, Sobatani Blend coffee, and Cajuput Candy.
“This serves as a symbol that IPB University possesses flagship products that can be shared with the academic community while introducing them more widely,” he remarked. Dr Alim expressed his hope that these product innovations will continue to evolve so that their quantity and variety can further increase.
Meanwhile, the Director of Human Resources at IPB University, Prof Sri Suharti, reported that this year’s holiday package distribution was carried out smoothly and successfully.
She mentioned that this activity is a form of institutional attention and appreciation for employees in welcoming the Eid holiday.
“This year, the holiday packages consist of 10 essential items including beef, beef liver, whole chicken, shrimp, tilapia, rice, wheat flour, syrup, cooking oil, and granulated sugar,” she detailed.
Prof Sri Suharti also reported that the number of packages distributed this year increased compared to the previous year. “In total, 5.400 packages were prepared and distributed to recipients through a well-coordinated distribution mechanism,” she revealed.
She added that the organization of this activity involved various units within IPB University and collaboration with strategic partners, including alumni and industrial partners who contributed several food products to the holiday packages. (dr)
