Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana, announced IPB University’s readiness to host the 2026 Computer Based Written Exam National Test Based Selection (UTBK-SNBT) 2026.

“As one of the 2026 UTBK centers, IPB University is currently fully prepared. In terms of infrastructure, IPB has prepared 945 computers for each exam session, so that in a single day, we can accommodate up to 1.890 participants,” he said.

The 2026 UTBK at IPB University will take place at the Cilibende Vocational School Campus and the Dramaga Campus, both of which have been optimally prepared. Preparations for general facilities such as parking areas, vehicle circulation, as well as coordination across units and relevant parties have also been thoroughly carried out to ensure the smooth implementation of the exam.

Cheating Mitigation
In an effort to prevent cheating, Prof Deni emphasized, “Preventing cheating is a priority that we take very seriously. IPB consistently coordinates with the SNPMB (National Selection for New Student Admissions) Central Committee and implements all supervision procedures in accordance with the nationally established POB (prosedur operasional baku).”

These procedures include checking participants before they enter the exam room, monitoring during the exam, and handling incidents if there are indications of cheating. Additionally, the proctors on duty are equipped with an understanding and sensitivity toward all forms of cheating.

To anticipate technical challenges, IPB University has also prepared various strategic measures. Regarding electricity, backup generators are available and ready to operate automatically in the event of a disruption in the PLN power supply. IPB University also provides backup computers that can be immediately used if equipment malfunctions occur during the exam.

“All these technical preparations are carried out using a structured approach so that any challenges can be addressed quickly and do not disrupt the participants’ exam experience,” he added.

Inclusive Access
Furthermore, IPB University ensures comfort, safety, and inclusive access for all participants, including those with disabilities.  “We are fully committed to creating a comfortable, safe, and inclusive exam environment for all participants without exception.”

Every exam room is equipped with air conditioning (AC) and adequate lighting to support participants’ concentration and comfort during the exam. Security teams are stationed at every exam location to ensure order and safety throughout the entire event.

In addition, buses are available to facilitate the transportation of participants and their escorts. “With all these facilities, IPB University strives to ensure that every participant can take the exam under the best possible conditions,” concluded Prof Deni.
