IPB University is taking a number of steps to prevent various forms of cheating during the 2026 Computer Based Written Exam for National Test Based Selection (UTBK-SNBT).

The UTBK-SNBT Implementation Coordinator at IPB University, Dr Windra Priawandiputra, explained that IPB University is working to strengthen its monitoring system and maintain intensive coordination with the central organizing committee.

Furthermore, as one of the UTBK-SNBT testing centers, IPB University is enhancing monitoring through various measures. These include strict identity checks of participants before they enter the exam room.

Additionally, the committee uses metal detectors to detect hidden communication devices such as mini earphones, cameras, or other electronic devices. Participants are required to bring only their exam cards to the desk, while personal belongings are stored in designated areas.

“We also provide training to PJLs (site supervisors), proctors, and room technicians to heighten vigilance against various forms of cheating,” he said.

From a technical standpoint, computer inspections are conducted before the exam begins to ensure no illegal applications such as remote desktop software or cloning software are installed. Additionally, a security team is on standby at the exam site to address potential violations.

“IPB University ensures that the entire exam process follows national standard operating procedures (SOP). We continue to coordinate with the SNPMB central committee to guarantee the smooth and integrity of this year’s UTBK-SNBT implementation,” he concluded. (dh) (IAAS/PRO)
