The Directorate of Human Resources (HR) at IPB University held a Seminar on the Results of Competitive Grant Research by IPB Teaching Staff (Tendik) in 2025.

The event was held online (10/9) via Zoom Meeting.

Director of HR, Dr Heti Mulyati, said that this program has been running since 2018. Through this program, IPB University provides opportunities for educational staff (tendik) to collaborate and contribute to solving problems while helping the institution respond to challenges and changes.

This seminar was an opportunity for tendik to present their research results and receive feedback from other participants.

“This year’s theme is very interesting, namely the role of tendik in accelerating the transformation of higher education in the digital era. We hope that this seminar can be a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences in managing change and improving the quality of education,” she said.

Dr Heti reported that this year, 20 research projects were successfully funded. The research themes included improving service quality, strategies for enhancing work unit branding, methods for various analyses, trends in library collection utilization, and analyses to improve student services.

Meanwhile, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, Vice Rector for Resilience, Resources, and Infrastructure, said that this activity is a form of IPB University’s commitment to continuously improve the capacity of teaching staff through relevant and innovative programs.

“We believe that teaching staff have an important role in realizing the vision and mission of higher education. We hope that the results of this research can be a real reference in improving governance and services at the university,” he said.

A similar sentiment was expressed by the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana. He said that innovations born from teaching and research staff will accelerate IPB University’s transformation into a resilient and globally competitive university.

“Major changes do not come from one direction but from the collective energy of the entire university working in synergy. I would like to invite all of us to use this event as a moment for reflection. Let’s see how far our research contributions have had a real impact on improving systems and services,” said Prof Deni.

On that occasion, he also expressed his appreciation to the participants.

“Congratulations to the award recipients who will present their research results today. Let us continue to move forward together, innovate, and collaborate for an IPB University that is increasingly superior, inclusive, and globally competitive,” he concluded. (IAAS/LAN)
